My entry for the Flash Preloader Competition.

Interactive real-time 3D, Flash Player 6 compatibility and only 8KB.

:licking: Slerp me baby, yeah!

This is really nice! I like this preloader as well! The 3-D render is very cool!

Yeah nice preloader dude. small size, real-time 3D...
:blushes: But the only negative point I found is the total use of CPU during the 3D animation. (I know. It's a real problem with Flash :D)

Thanks ;)

I guess perhaps the quaternion math is a little chunky for a preloader, especially for those with slower computers. Do you find this one any better?:

Thanks guys, it's like any art-form you learn new techniques as you go along and you choose to learn the tools that you think will help you in your end. I've been Flashing (:giggle:) since 1999 in that time I've learned about MAXScript and various forms of 3D math which play their part here.

I have to admit.... I thought mine was bad ass (the very first one) but now looking at all of them there are so many more that are better... including this one. I went with a simple one but this one is sweet. How does one learn this type of AS? Great job, really original.
